The Company

Siderúrgica del Turbio, S.A., SIDETUR, is a subsidiary of Siderúrgica Venezolana S.A., SIVENSA, the pioneering company of the national iron and steel sector that from its foundation in 1948, has been bound to the development of the national industrial activity. SIDETUR represents the experience of more than 55 years in the manufacture and commercialization of steel products destined to the national and international markets. Account with six plants located in Caracas, Guarenas, Valencia, Barquisimeto and Puerto Ordaz, with a capacity of annual production of 835.000 tons of steelmaking, 615.000 tons of rolling and 67.000 tons of electrowelding.

SIDETUR is a dedicated company to surpass with Excelencia Siderúrgica the expectations of their clients through the continuous improvement of their processes and products. SIDETUR has been recognized with four (4) certifications ISO 9001, sixteen (16) marks NORVEN and ten (10) certifications PLATINUM 9000. SIDETUR develops their exporting activity in more than 25 countries in the markets of America, Africa, Asia and Europe, fulfilling the norms: ASTM, JIS, DIN, BSI, ICONTEC, CSA, JS, INEM and NBR, which endorse the quality and trustworthiness of their products.
